About Us

From a young age, Jake was not only passionate about computers and technology, but he has always loved connecting with people. After graduating high school, he may have not been certain where is career would ultimately lead him, but he knew he would find himself somewhere in the world of technology and helping people.

After multiple customer service roles in retail, including working behind the counter at Best Buy’s Geek Squad, Jake landed his first formal IT position in 2014 with a local Managed Service Provider (MSP). And from there, his IT skills took off. Jake truly thrived in an environment where he could continue expanding his knowledge of technology while simultaneously developing strong bonds with clients.

Today, Jake has fulfilled his dream of creating Nied IT - his own MSP - where his focus is purely centered around creating and maintaining a painless IT experience for his clients.

Whenever he’s not working with his clients, Jake spends most of his personal time with his wife, Lauren, and their dog, Cedar, and two cats Olive and Canola. Besides keeping up with the latest news and products in technology, he enjoys traveling, photography, maintaining his nearly perfect lawn, and cheering for the Detroit Red Wings.
